A company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan origination staff in various tasks related to loan transactions. Key Responsibilities Communicates with customers, real estate agents, and escrows at the start of transactions Collects necessary documentation to complete loan transactions and assists with preapprovals and loan structuring Updates all parties on the status of loan transactions and orders standard loan requirements and verifications Required Qualifications Two or more years of recent mortgage operations, underwriting, and/or processing experience Current hands-on experience as a loan officer assistant, processor, or underwriter Proficient product knowledge of various loan programs including FHA, VA, and Conventional loans Understanding of compliance regulations and investor guidelines Proficient with Encompass software
