Medical Coder Trainee
A company is looking for a Medical Coder Trainee to join their Revenue Cycle Management Division in a remote position. Key Responsibilities Review and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM coding to medical diagnoses, procedures, and services Gain knowledge of department procedures and operations Integrate medical coding and reimbursement rule changes into practice reimbursement processes Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred Must have completed ICD class and Unbillables (UB) training At least one medical billing credential through AAPC or AHIMA is required (CPC, CPC-A, CCS, CCS-P) Previous RCM Medical Translator experience is strongly preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology necessary for coding
