Mission Software Engineer
A company is looking for a Mission Software Engineer. Key Responsibilities Improve daily mission operations in alignment with organizational goals and objectives Establish mission planning needs and develop processes and tools within the mission operations system Develop and maintain complex software and troubleshoot existing issues impacting mission operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience Experience in scientific or engineering software development with progressive responsibility Experience in satellite mission operations and mission planning preferred Significant experience in software development using languages such as R, Python, C++, and Linux Must be a US person (citizen or green card holder); employer-based sponsorship is not available for this role
