A company is looking for a Director, IP Counsel. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead IP strategies to maximize asset value and enhance the IP portfolio's competitive position Conduct thorough due diligence for potential transactions and prepare assessments of the IP landscape Establish and scale IP operations, oversee patent prosecution and manage external IP counsel Required Qualifications Qualified attorney with a degree from a top-tier law school and licensed to practice (or willing to take the New York State Bar) 7+ years of IP experience, with exposure to due diligence, asset negotiations, and IP portfolio management Experience managing outside counsel in deadline-driven settings Strong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
