Key Responsibilities Reconciles general ledger accounts and corrects any discrepancies Prepares monthly general ledger journal entries for balance sheet and income statement accounts Analyzes account activity and assists in preparing financial statements and forecasts Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1 year of progressive work experience as a staff accountant for Staff Accountant II Beginning knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including MS Access Consideration for collective experience, training, and education for Staff Accountant I
