Principal Software Tester
A company is looking for a Principal Software Tester to lead quality assurance and testing efforts on a federal program. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans and test cases for applications Perform manual and automated testing to validate functional, performance, regression, and security requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Demonstrated experience leading testing efforts in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, test case management, and defect tracking Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms
