A company is looking for a Principal Splunk Engineer to lead and shape Enterprise Observability initiatives. Key Responsibilities Architect, implement, and evolve complex Splunk and Cribl environments Drive innovation across the full lifecycle of observability platforms including performance analysis, system upgrades, and automation leadership Oversee comprehensive documentation, governance, and security integrations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant IT experience; or Master's degree with 10 years; or Associate degree with 14 years, or additional experience in lieu of a degree 6+ years as a senior-level Splunk Engineer 8+ years managing complex Linux-based infrastructures Proven expertise in architecting and enhancing Splunk infrastructures handling multi-terabyte daily ingests Strong scripting/programming skills, particularly in Python and JavaScript
