A company is looking for an Underwriter who is analytically minded and hands-on, with a focus on homeowner's coverage and risk. Key Responsibilities Review new and renewal business from the referral system Approve or deny requests to bind insurance Manage phone calls from agents and referrals, and complete ad-hoc projects as assigned Required Qualifications 3-5 years of prior homeowners' insurance experience A minimum of 3 years of property underwriting experience A college degree or equivalent experience and education Experience working directly with customers, insurance producers, and agents Experience with insurance software and MS Office Suite
