Remote Coding Resident
A company is looking for a HIM Coder Resident. Key Responsibilities Receive hands-on training and feedback on assigning codes to patient accounts Assign and sequence diagnosis and procedure codes using appropriate classification systems Verify charge entries and resolve billing edits at the time of coding Required Qualifications High School Diploma Zero to one year of ICD-10 and/or CPT-4 hospital coding experience or other healthcare experience Proficiency of 85% or greater on coding audit reviews Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Ability to work independently as a remote employee
