A company is looking for a Physician Services Coding Specialist II - Remote Radiology. Key Responsibilities Assign ICD-9, CPT-4 & HCPC codes from medical documentation and apply appropriate modifiers Support the denial process and problem-solve claim edits as needed Maintain a coding quality accuracy rate of 95.5% and mentor new employees Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma/GED with vocational or technical education beyond high school Minimum of 3 years coding experience in a relevant specialty AHIMA or AAPC certification required; AAPC Specialty certifications preferred Knowledge of third-party reimbursement regulations and billing practices Moderate knowledge of CCI edits and LCDs
