Security Engineering Intern

A company is looking for a Firefox Security Student Worker. Key Responsibilities Maintain and advance the TLS stack, Personal Security Manager (PSM), and NSS for Firefox Design and implement new web platform features in collaboration with senior leaders and the web community Debug and fix platform-specific security issues in a multi-threaded codebase to enhance stability and correctness Required Qualifications Experience with programming in C/C++ or Rust, with knowledge of memory safety and secure software development practices Fluency in English and enjoyment of conducting software engineering work in an open environment Previous experience with cryptography, compilers, operating system development, or web security is a plus Enrollment in a university in Germany and willingness to occasionally visit the office in Berlin Commitment to values such as welcoming differences and practicing responsible participation
