Senior Bankruptcy Specialist

A company is looking for a Senior Bankruptcy Specialist to manage bankruptcy cases and ensure compliance with bankruptcy laws. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the bankruptcy claims process, including filing proofs of claim and monitoring case progress Prepare and review bankruptcy petitions and related documents, coordinating with external attorneys Assist with negotiating settlements and managing ongoing bankruptcy negotiations Qualifications & Skills: Paralegal certification or degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Paralegal with a focus on bankruptcy law In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy laws, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13 Familiarity with bankruptcy software and tools, such as CM/ECF and Pacer Experience working within a legal department or with external legal counsel on bankruptcy cases
