Senior Project Controls Specialist

A company is looking for a Senior Project Controls Specialist. Key Responsibilities Manage scheduling and cost control functions across multiple projects, ensuring real-time visibility into project progress Provide mentorship and training to junior team members while standardizing project controls tools and methodologies Identify and escalate cost and schedule risks, providing executive-level reports on project performance Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a construction planner/scheduler for projects over $15 million Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; experience with cost tracking systems like SAP or Oracle Practical knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and forecasting methodologies Preferred certifications include PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) and Project Management Professional (PMP)
