A company is looking for a SVP, Deputy General Counsel, Commercial Contracting. Key Responsibilities: Direct and develop the North America contracts team, providing strategic direction and oversight Oversee the preparation and negotiation of all contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards Develop and implement policies for contract administration and serve as an escalation point for complex negotiations Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in an in-house legal department, focusing on multi-million dollar deals Extensive knowledge of contract law and the contract life cycle for IT services Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing legal teams Experience in both in-house and firm environments preferred
