Texas Licensed Special Education Teacher

A company is looking for a Remote Sped Teacher and 504 Case Manager. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with campus administration to conduct child find efforts and manage special education records Schedule and conduct ARD meetings to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with disabilities Ensure compliance with state assessments and provide support to general education teachers regarding special education accommodations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Special Education Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education; alternative certification eligibility letter required if applicable Advanced knowledge of federal and state special education laws and the ARD Committee process Experience with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
