Trade Counsel - Licensed Attorney

A company is looking for a Trade Counsel to assist on a contract basis for an initial 6-month term. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to global trade and tariff matters Perform tariff classification analysis and advise on implications Draft and review general documentation and filings as needed Qualifications: J.D. and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 5+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on international trade Background at a law firm Global Trade group or equivalent in-house/government experience Strong working knowledge of U.S. tariff laws and trade regulations Experience supporting clients in the automotive industry is a plus
