A company is looking for an Outpatient Coder - SS Revenue Cycle. Key Responsibilities Review medical record documentation and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT IV codes Abstract required data per facility specifications and perform medical necessity checks for claims Monitor and work on accounts to ensure timely and compliant processing of outpatient claims Required Qualifications Vocational/Technical Degree in Health Information Management or Coding Certification Completion of Coding Curriculum with one year of coding experience Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology Proficiency in coding software tools and electronic medical records Active coding certification (RHIA, RHIT, CCA) or willingness to obtain within one year
