California Licensed Underwriting Supervisor

A company is looking for a Government and Conventional Underwriting Supervisor to manage and guide their underwriting team while ensuring service level agreements are met. Key Responsibilities: Underwrite both Conventional and Government loans, managing an underwriting pipeline Resolve loan-level escalations and conduct second-level reviews as directed by management Facilitate training and coaching for new hires and conduct team performance reviews Required Qualifications: Active DE/CHUMS and LAPP/SAR certifications are mandatory Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of current experience in Mortgage Underwriting with a solid understanding of agency guidelines Familiarity with DU and Total Scorecard is necessary Strong working knowledge of ATR/QM requirements and proficiency in Microsoft Office
