Certified Patient Account Specialist
A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist. Key Responsibilities Execute the Patient Statement Process, including handling inbound calls and researching patient issues Collect unpaid balances and process credit card payments while maintaining patient confidentiality Complete assigned reports within the allotted timeframe and update patient demographic information Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred 1-2 years of customer service experience required; 2 years of medical billing experience preferred Knowledge of CPT and ICD codes is required CPAR - Certified Patient Account Representative preferred Experience with Epic or eClinicalWorks and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
