Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist
A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist (Biller). Key Responsibilities: Perform initial charge review to determine appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes for physician services Review and research insurance denials and provide timely follow-up on outstanding accounts receivables Collaborate with team members to ensure account accuracy and communicate payer billing guidelines Required Qualifications: Good working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy Knowledge of third-party billing and collection regulatory guidelines Ability to gather and interpret clinical data A high school diploma or GED is required Billing or Coding Certification (CPC, CPC-A, COPC, CPB) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months
