A company is looking for a Claims Processor I to ensure accurate and timely insurance claim production and processing. Key Responsibilities Process and resolve EDI claim edits and prepare paper claims for submission Maintain accounts by updating registrations and following up on denied or unpaid claims Communicate with third-party payers to resolve outstanding claims and keep management informed of issues Required Qualifications and Education High school diploma required One year of billing and insurance follow-up experience in a hospital or physician office preferred General knowledge of insurance terminology and billing rules Ability to prioritize work and exercise independent judgment Knowledge of Epic preferred
