Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist
A company is looking for an Associate Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to enhance clinical documentation completeness
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding trends and Medicare regulations related to diagnosis coding
Communicate with providers to clarify documentation requirements and improve clinical documentation quality
Required Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Registered Nurse with 3+ years of clinical acute care hospital or care coordination experience, or Medical Graduate with CDI experience
Understanding of clinical medicine, pathophysiology, and pharmacology
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work full-time with flexibility for 8-hour shift schedules and occasional overtime
