Coast Guard Credentialing Consultant

A company is looking for a Coast Guard COOL Consultant. Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert for Coast Guard COOL and support strategic program development Provide quality control and assurance of occupational mappings and credential alignments Participate in stakeholder meetings to offer subject matter input and represent SME perspective Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required; may need to obtain a U.S. Military Common Access Card (CAC) 10+ years of U.S. Coast Guard experience with knowledge of enlisted ratings and officer roles Expertise in maritime licensing and credentialing, including MMCs and STCW endorsements Experience in military-to-civilian career transitions and credentialing programs Strong understanding of civilian credentialing bodies and licensing processes
