CPU Performance Analysis Engineer
A company is looking for a CPU Workload Performance Analysis Engineer to drive workload characterization and performance analysis for CPU products.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct competitive analysis of CPU products using benchmarks and emerging applications
Characterize CPU workloads to identify performance bottlenecks and power inefficiencies
Collaborate with CPU architects and RTL designers to enhance microarchitectural features
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Strong research background or industry expertise in workload characterization and performance simulation
Proficiency in performance profiling tools such as Linux Perf or similar
Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture concepts and operating system internals
Proficiency in C/C++, intrinsic/assembly programming, and scripting languages like Python
