CPU Core Verification Engineer

A company is looking for a CPU Core Design Verification Engineer - Contractor. Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional verification focusing on core level test planning, stimulus development, and regression debugging Create comprehensive test plans based on ISA and microarchitectural specifications Develop architectural and microarchitectural coverage for core features and support design deployment across simulation and emulation platforms Required Qualifications: BS/MS/PhD in EE/ECE/CE/CS with at least 5 years of experience Strong background in high performance out-of-order CPU microarchitecture Experience with one or more ISAs such as x86, ARM, or RISC-V Proficient in debugging RTL and DV in simulation environments Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, PERL) and hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL)
