DFIR Managing Director

A company is looking for a DFIR Managing Director of Engineering. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a high-performing DFIR team, including recruitment, task delegation, and mentorship Act as Incident Commander during cyber incidents, providing direction and updates to clients Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct post-incident analysis to mitigate future risks Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Proven track record in leading DFIR teams and managing complex cyber incidents Experience in conducting security investigations in both Linux and Windows environments Knowledge of cloud platforms and security considerations (AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, GCP) Familiarity with digital forensic tools and artifacts (e.g., ELK, Axiom, Encase, FTK) Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and EDR solutions (Defender, CrowdStrike)
