A company is looking for a Director of Applied Science - NLP. Key Responsibilities: Create original machine learning and LLM solutions tailored to legal contexts Partner with executive leadership to define and execute technical vision and roadmap Lead projects from initial research through to deployment, including building platforms Required Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on experience in NLP, with 2 years in a people management role Strong track record in building scalable NLP platforms and working with large datasets Deep proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch Experience translating research into real-world applications A PhD in a relevant field such as Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, or Statistics
