Key Responsibilities Coordinates and monitors the lifecycle of the legal health record, focusing on workflow, productivity, quality, compliance, and process improvement Conducts quality assurance audits and ensures the integrity of both electronic and paper protected health information Facilitates and designs optimized workflows and procedures to meet clinical and business needs while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Two years of experience in HIM Department operations or a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or related field Associate Degree in Health Information Technology or related field is preferred Registered Health Information Technologists (RHIT) or Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) credentials are preferred
