A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel to provide strategic and operational support on various legal matters. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and other legal issues Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex contracts and manage legal disputes Assist in compliance efforts and develop legal policies to mitigate risks across the organization Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active and in good standing with the Illinois state bar or eligible for Registered In-House Counsel Seven or more years of corporate/transactional law experience, preferably in a professional services organization Substantive experience with litigation, contract negotiation, and corporate transactions Demonstrated experience in managing complex legal issues and leading cross-functional projects
