Illinois Licensed Employment Counsel

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law. Key Responsibilities: Provide advice and counsel on employment-related matters, including hiring, termination, discrimination, and employee litigation Stay updated on employment laws and best practices to advise stakeholders on policy revisions Review, interpret, and draft company policies and partner with outside counsel on employment litigation Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree and admission to a state bar 7 years of experience in employment law, ideally with both large law firm and in-house experience Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or as part of a team Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
