Oncology Nurse Navigator RN
A company is looking for an Oncology Nurse Navigator.
Key Responsibilities
Provide triage, support, and education to members during their cancer journey through various communication methods
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and facilitate end-of-life care discussions while managing member health
Coordinate care and address member needs, including symptom management and provider referrals, while participating in case conferences
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a compact unrestricted registered nurse (RN) license
At least 5 years of nursing experience, with 3 years in solid tumor oncology nursing
Oncology-related certifications such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM required or to be obtained within 2 years of hire
Compact or single state licensure in Alaska, New York, Illinois, Michigan, and/or California preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays and up to 2 holidays per year
