A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist Follow-up 1 (Patient Account Representative 1). Key Responsibilities Process and document transactions on insurance accounts and resolve unpaid balances Communicate with staff and third-party customers to ensure accurate processing of account transactions Perform quality assurance reviews and prioritize accounts for aged AR resolution Required Qualifications Two years of recent experience in billing or collecting healthcare accounts, or four years of general collection, billing, or customer service experience Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) required within 18 months of hire High school diploma or equivalent preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and procedural/diagnosis codes is advantageous
