Key Responsibilities Interview uninsured/under-insured patients to determine eligibility for Medicaid or Financial Assistance programs Coordinate application processes and follow up on submitted applications for timely billing adjustments Maintain knowledge of state and federal program requirements and develop relationships with Medicaid caseworkers Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with hospital financial issues Understanding of Revenue Cycle processes including admissions, billing, and payments Knowledge of patient insurance processes for authorizations and benefits verification High School Diploma or GED; combination of education and experience may be considered CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid)
