Quality Control Engineer

A company is looking for a Quality Control Engineer to support outside plant facility engineering tasks. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quality control work for estimating, analyzing, designing, and planning outside plant facilities Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports, including loop loss design and field mounted switch serving areas Conduct periodic job inspections and track job budgets against actual costs Required Qualifications Ability to identify existing telephone plant and utilities on site plans and in the field Capability to indicate existing telephone plant locations and relocate facilities as needed Knowledge of obtaining right of ways and easements Experience in engineering routine and specific outside plant work orders Functional knowledge of outside plant principles, work order procedures, and relevant PC applications
