A company is looking for an R&D Engineer II to contribute to the development of software products and supporting systems. Key Responsibilities Perform moderately complex development activities, including design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of software modules Conduct bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products, developing solutions for issues discovered by QA or product support Understand marketing requirements for products, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues Required Qualifications and Education BS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 3-5 years of experience, or MS with a minimum of 2 years of experience Working experience in technical software development demonstrated through academic, research, or industry projects Good understanding and skills in object-oriented programming Experience with Java and C# / .NET Must be based on the East Coast due to remote work requirements
