A company is looking for a Senior PostgreSQL Functional Developer. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and document programming to meet reporting business requirements for large projects Create, maintain, and schedule jobs using cron, while adhering to best practices for tracking and reporting Translate functional specifications into efficient stored procedures and assist in third-level support of applications Required Qualifications BS in Computer Science or related field 5-7 years of experience in PostgreSQL development, including scripts, triggers, and stored procedures Familiarity with Korn shell scripting in a Linux environment Experience with Oracle and foreign data wrappers is a plus Ability to function independently in PostgreSQL coding concepts and best practices
