A company is looking for a Non-Clinical - Health and Information Management - Medical Coder. Key Responsibilities Validate and review codes for assigned providers based on medical record documentation while adhering to coding and compliance guidelines Resolve all assigned pre-billing edits and communicate billing-related issues to supervisors Participate in coding educational opportunities and provide feedback to providers to clarify coding concerns Required Qualifications Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiology coding Experience with Epic software Knowledge of governmental and commercial payer guidelines
