System Design Engineer

A company is looking for a System Design Engineer for a remote long-term contract opportunity. Key Responsibilities Design fluid systems from requirements development through final design and commissioning Prepare system level engineering documentation and support design reviews Interface with various design disciplines to develop system design and performance criteria Required Qualifications B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years of direct experience Experience with piping systems and ability to read and draw P&IDs Strong understanding of design codes (ASME, BPVC, API) Familiarity with safety classifications of systems and quality standards in design activities Self-starter with the ability to handle projects with competing objectives and design constraints
