Texas Licensed Accountant I

A company is looking for an Accountant I to join their Treasury Team. Key Responsibilities Review, correct, and post deposits to department owners within PeopleSoft Process journal entries, reconcile transactions, and analyze accounting data for reporting purposes Maintain ledger accounts and prepare financial records, including profit and loss statements Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with no experience, or Associate's Degree, or High School Diploma or equivalent No experience required with a Bachelor's Degree; 2 years of accounting-related experience with an Associate's Degree; or 4 years of experience in governmental and/or commercial accounting or auditing with a High School Diploma Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to apply mathematical reasoning to analyze data and identify discrepancies Sound judgment in applying and interpreting policies, procedures, and accounting principles
