A company is looking for a Thermal Analyst III (Remote). Key Responsibilities Apply engineering principles to support design, development, and verification for aerospace and defense programs Lead analysis, design, and optimization of aerodynamic and thermal systems for defense platforms Provide technical documentation and support wind tunnel and thermal testing to validate designs Required Qualifications Bachelor or Master of Science, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance Experience with high-temperature materials and ablative thermal protection systems Experience with thermal protection system sizing and analysis using standard tools Experience conducting high-speed numerical simulations (CFD) of aerospace vehicles
