Certified Coding Advisor

A company is looking for a Coding Advisor who will review patient charts for accuracy and completeness. Key Responsibilities Review patient charts coded by Coding Associates for accuracy and completeness Communicate deficiencies in coding to team members and leadership, recommending remedial training as necessary Perform audits and reviews of account escalations and special projects to ensure coding accuracy Required Qualifications CPC, CPMA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS-P, and/or CCS certification Minimum 1 year of physician coding and auditing experience, with multi-specialty experience preferred Surgical coding experience preferred Experience in Smartsheet Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
