Certified Hospitalist Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Hospitalist Coding Specialist who will provide coding services for various specialties. Key Responsibilities Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4 specialties Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels and recognize critical care cases Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards Required Qualifications Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary Experience with EMR and billing systems is required Must maintain a coding accuracy and quality score of 95% or higher
