A company is looking for a Certified Medical Coder IV - remote. Key Responsibilities Code various types of medical cases using ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines Assist in coordinating coding meetings and monitor ongoing coding reviews Train and mentor new coding staff while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Associate degree in Health Information Technology or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Five years of acute care inpatient and/or outpatient hospital coding experience Ability to pass a coding exam before hiring Certification as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC; dual credentials preferred
