Director of Core Technology Architecture
A company is looking for a Director of Architecture - Core Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and enforce consistent Core Technology standards across various domains to ensure reliability, efficiency, and security
Lead transformation initiatives to transition to an Infrastructure-as-a-Platform capability, enhancing automation and operational agility
Collaborate with Security Architecture to embed security principles into all Core Technology capabilities and advise leadership on infrastructure trends and risks
Required Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years, or Master's degree and 7 years, or Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience in Computer Science or Information Technology
10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure/Core Technology architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience with road mapping and transitioning Infrastructure services into a Platform-as-a-Service capability
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, compute, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies
Hands-on experience with automation principles, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevSecOps practices
