A company is looking for a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Consultant - Laboratory Billing. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and enhance full-cycle billing and reimbursement processes for laboratory services Identify denial trends, underpayments, and revenue leakage; implement corrective actions Support genetic and molecular test coding, billing compliance, and payer engagement Qualifications: 5+ years of RCM experience in clinical or molecular/genetic laboratories In-depth understanding of payer billing practices and reimbursement models for lab services Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding, pre-authorization, and claims management Familiarity with lab billing systems (e.g., Xifin, Telcor, CollaborateMD, Waystar) Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CRCS, CMRS, CPC)
