Medicaid Actuary

A company is looking for a Director Medicaid Actuarial - Pricing & Forecasting. Key Responsibilities Lead efforts to ensure actuarial and financial soundness of Medicaid Premium rates and prepare financial proformas Manage analyses for benefit and provider reimbursement changes, cost containment programs, and revenue adjustments from State Medicaid offices Develop actuarial forecasts, manage pricing assumptions, and oversee all actuarial functions for assigned lines of business Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Must be a credentialed actuary and member of the Academy of Actuaries with FSA or ASA 10+ years of progressively responsible actuarial experience in managed healthcare 3-5 years of people management experience at a senior level Ability to influence others effectively
