A company is looking for a PFS Insurance Specialist I. Key Responsibilities Assist the collections team in meeting productivity and quality standards while providing training and coaching Manage patient accounts, including outstanding A/R, credits, and denials, to reduce aging buckets Correct errors and submit claims and appeals according to payer guidelines Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in genetic billing 1+ years of experience in handling denials Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans, and ICD 10 codes Proficient in computer skills and MS Excel Understanding of different payer plans and basic A/R processes
