Product Design Engineer
A company is looking for a Product Design Engineer - Mechanical/Electrical (Remote - US). Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and validate mechanical and electrical components for IoT solutions in industrial rail applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and oversee prototyping, testing, and validation efforts Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation and develop manufacturing plans for product rollouts Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience 5+ years of experience in product design and development, focusing on industrial or rugged environments Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with electrical design tools for schematic capture Understanding of environmental design and testing procedures and relevant standards Experience developing technical documentation, such as assembly manuals and test procedures
