Regional Underwriting Manager

A company is looking for a Regional Underwriting Manager. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily underwriting activities of assigned Underwriters and Support staff, including workflow and performance monitoring Complete requests for proposal (RFPs) and ensure timely follow-up, quoting at least 66% of received RFPs Assist Regional Underwriters in achieving profitability goals, renewal retention, and new business production Required Qualifications, Training, and Education: Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience Preferred Graduate Degree Preferred certifications such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) 8 years of relevant experience in the field and 5 years of leadership experience Advanced knowledge of underwriting principles and practices
