A company is looking for an Advice Nurse, Mental Health to provide virtual intake services for psychiatric and chemical dependency admissions. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial screening of psychiatric and medical needs for incoming referrals Utilize virtual assessment skills to triage patients in acute crisis and determine appropriate care levels Provide mental status assessments and illness advice, consulting and referring as necessary Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing RN-Registered Nurse license in the state of residence and California (must obtain prior to hire) 1 year of mental health experience preferred 2 years of practical nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, urgent care, or emergency department Emergency, ICU, or Med-Surg experience preferred
